Collaborative Partnership

The Crescent Point Regional Field House is a model for collaborative partnerships. The M.D. of Foothills and the Town of Okotoks have come together to build this much needed facility to promote health and wellness excellence. It is a place where communities come together. Nustadia Recreation operates the field house on behalf of the Foothills Okotoks Recreation Society, comprised of the M.D. of Foothills, the town of Okotoks and three area citizens.

The region has experienced phenomenal growth during the past 12 years. The need for a field house in one of the fastest growing areas in Canada can’t be overstated. The population grew from 52,780 in 2006 to approximately 65,000 in 2014. Growth is projected to reach 93,070 by 2019.
